Madison Co. Gun & Archery Club

About the Club

The Madison County Gun & Archery Club was incorporated in 1992 and has grown in membership from just a handful to almost 500 members. When we first began, the firing line was simply shooting benches in a line 100 yards from a berm. Now, there are two covered cement firing lines, a ten-bench pistol range, and a ten-bench rifle firing line, with backstops at 100, 200 and 300 yards. We also have two skeet fields and a trap field. For comfort and shelter we have a nice clubhouse/educational facility and clean restrooms with running water. The range is located at 4096 Conner Lane in Madison County.

Many of the improvements have been funded through membership dues and fund raising events. But our large projects would not have been possible without grants from the NRA Foundation. We are proud of our affiliations with the NRA and 4-H Clubs of America and we support their efforts to protect our constitutional rights.

The club is governed by a Board of Directors, but day-to-day management is done by the President and Secretary/Treasurer. All officers and directors are elected at an annual meeting of the members in January of each year.

Membership is available at $100 for the first year, $75 per year thereafter. Please see the Membership Application tab for more information.
